Two LAFD Firefighters Sustain Minor Injuries in Vehicle Accident While Responding to Structure Fire

LOS ANGELES-

The Los ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµlogo is reporting that two of its firefighters sustained minor injuries today when their apparatus was involved in a vehicle accident while responding to a structure fire. 

Both firefighters were transported to a local hospital and are being evaluated by medical personnel. No members of the public were injured in the accident. The identities of the injured firefighters are being withheld pending notification of their families. 

The Department asks that the media and the public respect the privacy of the members and their families at this time. The Los ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµlogo will provide further updates as additional information becomes available. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the accident
