After further investigation, found Lithium ion battery from E-Bike in the chute. LAFD Hazmat Squad responding and JHAT notified. No injuries and no exposures. Structure Fire; INC#0666; 10:59AM; 17914 W Magnolia Bl; ; Encino; E83 on scene reporting a fire in a trash chute 1st floor to the garage. Fire is held in place by fire sprinkler system. Smoke problem only at this time. LAPD and Department of Transportation requested for traffic control. MAGNOLIA IC No extension into the building other than smoke. Chute is incased in concrete. No injuries at this time.
